The imperial guard are the last line of defense for any planet. This planet is mainly desert and with the loss of the planets main Lord of War transport tank, the Adeptus Administratum have deemed the planet vital in the travel links in the galaxy. Thus lead to the reinforcements of veterans to do multiple objectives with the main one is to find the highly valued transport tank. As a side objective to secure the planetary ship port to ensure the planet is controlled by the Imperium.
Due to the Adeptus Administratum deeming this planet of such importance, it rushed the veterans from a nearby jungle planet this means that they are illy equipped to match the deserts on the planet.
The command squad has been given permission to the use orbital bombardments which shows the amount of importance this planet holds in the region.
For the emperor, these guardsmen will hold the line or die trying!
